This standard might be adopted by the EU for ALL new buildings - 10 times more efficient than a code building in this country. If americans use 25% of the worlds resources, and buildings use approximately 50% of our energy, and we cut that by an order of magnitude, it would have a massive impact on our energy costs as well as carbon emissions, and it would put a lot of people to work rebuilding everything we have built for the 21st century.
